Sorrow and Anger Over Virginia Tech Shooting
My heart is broken today along with millions of other Americans and hopefully a good part of the rest of the world over what took place at Virginia Tech just this morning. An immeasurable tragedy…it leaves me at loss for words.I know it is easy to be very angry at moments like this and to point the finger of blame…”why warrant students notified sooner?” “Why wasn’t there systems in place?” …who’s responsible?!!! The person responsible like his young innocent victims is dead.
And like Columbine, we may never know the deranged motives for perpetrating such a hennas act of violence. For those of us who have not been effected directly by the days events we must pray and put out into the universe whatever healing energy we can for the parents and friends of the victims, the injured, and even those of the perpetrator. And try not to imagine the pain they must all be experiencing at this moment.
