The Secret of Successful People…

…They crave continuing education…

fbs08.jpgOne of the reasons myself and other successful fitness entrepreneurs have been and continue to be on the cutting edge is because we are constantly gorging ourselves with new information.  In 2007 for example, I attended 6 different educational and personal growth events, listened to countless CD programs, and read so many books I needed to have eye surgery. Actually it was Lasik…so I can read even more.

One of the events I attended last year was th Fitness Business Summit where I met my now good friends Michael Seril, Pat Rigsby, and Bedros Keuilian.  This year I presented at the 2008 event.  Even as a presenter (I spoke about TeleCoaching for Profits-I’ll tell you about that later) I learned a great deal.

There were several great presenters all with a wealth of knowledge. The two that stood out in my mind were Jim Sayih the creator of the “911 Fitness Challenge” and Nitin Chhoda, “How to be a Fitness Author”. fitness-auther.jpg

Nitin had some unbelievable strategies for developing your book and having it published in record time. Not only that but he can do it for you from start to finish at a fraction of the cost of doing it yourself.  Let’s face it there are hundreds of reason why you would want your own published fitness book that include respect and being recognized as a fitness industry leader.  for you from start to finish at a fraction of the cost of doing it yourself.  Let’s face it there are hundreds of reason why you would want your own published fitness book that include respect and being recognized as a fitness industry leader.

Nitin is going to share his knowledge with us on our May 2008 edition of Access To Fitness Experts. I am going to squeeze as much information from Nitin as possible.  If you have ever thought about having your own fitness book you have to be on this live event…it’s free.  Register and ask any question you would like of me or Nitin by going to Access To Fitness Experts.

jim.pngAs for Jim…well the guy is a genuine “Bad Ass” winning the title of “Toughest Cop Alive” at the International Law Enforcement Games…thank God he’s one of the good guys.  Dawn and I had dinner with Jim and his lovely wife and I can tell you that they are as genuine as you can get.  He has some training programs that will knock your sock off and I am working on lining Jim up for an interview.  Make sure you are on our list so I can let you know when that’s happening.

So here’s the key…Keep learning, keep growing, and keep meeting and associating with the people you admire and want to model. Hell, I want to be just like Jim!
