<p>Consumer Reports says all four products worked well even  after a person soaked in water for 80 minutes. (Google: Consumer Reports sunscreen for a direct link)</p>
<p>This all sounds great&#8230; until you take it one step further and consider what you are actually putting on your skin. The most common ingredients in non-mineral sunscreens are oxybenzone, octisalate  and avobenzone, found in 60, 58, and 50 percent of all sunscreens on the market,  respectively. The most common, oxybenzone, can trigger allergic reactions, is a  potential hormone disruptor and penetrates the skin in relatively large amounts.  Some experts caution that it should not be used on children. Three of every five  sunscreens rated by <a href="http://www.ewg.org/2010sunscreen/" target="_blank">EWG (Environmental Working Group)</a> are non-mineral, and one in five sunscreens combines  both mineral and non-mineral active ingredients.</p>
<p>I have had bouts with skin cancer &#8212; I take this stuff very seriously.  Type in your products including makeups. lipbalms and  lotions that contain sunscreens and find out how stable the formulation is, how safe it may be for your child and to what degree it can enter your body.  Shockingly amazing isn&#8217;t it?????????</p>

<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Well, one of the Angles who happen to have a swaztika tattooed on his forehead and a machete hanging from his belt, looked me in the eye and asked, &#8220;Is your name, Terwilliger?&#8221;  </font></p>

<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">I</font><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"> watch very little television these days.  After all, why would I?  There&#8217;s so little time and way too much bad news being televised.  Who needs it!   Every now and than however a show comes along that <strong>sparks my curiosity</strong>. </font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"> A new &#8220;reality&#8221; program called, &#8217;The Secret Millionaire&#8217; on FOX network did just that.  The show features different &#8220;self absorbed&#8221; multi-millionaires who go completely undercover as an almost destitute person living at the poverty level.  The undercover millionaire is sent to a some remote poverty stricken area of the US to live for a full week with only a few welfare level dollars in his or her pocket. They have to find a job if they are going to make it.  </font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Their main objective is to find some poor unfortunate individual or organization worthy of help, then wright them a check for some fairly big bucks.  The total give away is in the area of <strong><font color="#000000">$100,000.00</font></strong> or more of their own money.  Although the show itself is tainted with an obvious philanthropy-for-profit undertone (which I have no real problem with) the end result was quite inspiring.  </font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">I found myself having to wipe more than a few tears away from my eyes as I watched the faces of the people who were so desperately in need receive a check for a substantial amount of money. </font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">This wasn&#8217;t a handout to people who have found themselves in dire straits as a result of alcoholic or drug abuse, but rather a helping hand for people who have chosen inspite of their own circumstances to stay in their communities and give back, <strong>contribute</strong>, and help others purely out of the goodness of their own heart.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">When the show ended I was left with several questions and impressions not the least of which was how important money really is in helping others less fortunate.  </font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><strong>As good old Abe Lincoln</strong> once said,<span id="more-256"></span><font color="#000000"><font style="background-color: #ffff00"><strong>&#8220;</strong><strong>The best way to help the poor is by not being one.&#8221;</strong></font></font><font color="#0000ff">  </font></font><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">What a gift it would be to be able to go out into the community and give back at that level.  </font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Then I asked myself how I can do more to help others with the time and gifts I already have at my disposal?  As a leader you need to ask yourself that same question.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Not only that but how can we do more to inspire others to do more as well.   I’m looking for your suggestions and solutions… let me know your thoughts about the show and about giving back.</font></p>

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><em>I wonder if you could give me some general advice about training. I have trained on and off for many years and have always trained heavy(5 to 8 reps).  My shoulders and knees are now starting to ache the day after a heavy session. </em></font></p>

<p><font size="2"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><span id="more-254"></span>Gunnar, Great to hear from you and I appreciate the compliment about my physique back in the day! </font></font></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">You ask a very good question.  First, let me first say <strong>I am going to be turning 50 in January</strong> so I know exactly what you mean about the post workout aches and pains, in fact they&#8217;re more like pre-during and post-workout pains now.  But I still train extremely hard and are glad to hear that you are as well, why da hell not?!</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><strong>I credit my longevity success to variety in my training</strong>.  One half of the year I train with moderate weight and higher reps 20, 15, 10 generally using either super or giant sets (combing 2-3 exercises back to back). And one fourth of the year is spent training very heavy with reps as low as 2-4.  The final quarter, I go extremely light with very high reps (100) to strengthen connective tissue and shock the muscle big time.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">As for intensity, keep it high but <strong>listen to the feedback from your body</strong>, it will tell you if you need rest of if yoiu need to back off a bit.  I also mix up the routines every 8-12 weeks so that my joints aren&#8217;t constantly bombarded from the same angle and movement.  Mixing things up also keeps my body responding to the exercise rather than getting stale through adaptation. </font></p>
<p><font size="+0"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">My recommendation would be to take a week off from your current training to <strong>allow your body to heal and recover</strong> then start back with something completely different than what you have been used to.  <strong>I have attached a copy of the 100&#8217;s routine</strong> I have been staggering into my regiment for years.  Try it.  Either you will love or absolutley hate it.</font></font></font></p>
<p><font size="+0"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">You may also want to include some glutamine and some live greens with your post workout drink for added recover.  And you should be taking a joint formula with glucosamine and chondroitin. </font></font></font></p>

7. Use the &#8220;W&#8221; button on the article software to paste your article into the box.<br />
8. Erase all of your article but the first paragraph.<br />
9. Then at the end of this paragraph, choose the drop down tab from the software and chose paragraph.<br />
10. Paste the rest of the article by using the &#8220;w&#8221;ord paste feature above the 2nd editing box.<br />
11. In that 2nd editing box, and the end of the first paragraph, again choose the drop down tab from the software and chose paragraph.<br />
12. Now go to the bottom of the page and in the meta tab, you will write a summary in the top box, and key words in the box below it.<br />
13. Click on publishing tab, and write your name as the author.<br />
14. Go to top of the page and put a short title, with few words. Words should be key words that will come up well on a search. Like Atkins diet reviewed (rather than a long wordy title). The key word box should only contain 5 to 7 key words tops, and they should be written in order of importance and appearance. Another tip, key words should be in that intro paragraph and you want to get all the key words that you can in that first paragraph.<br />
15. When the above is done, hit save. You can add as many articles as you would like.At the bottom of your article you can add a &#8220;About the Author&#8221; heading in bold. Under it you can write a short paragraph about yourself and add up to 2 links back to you and your sites.</font></p>
